What is MINX

The MINX sensor system is a plug-and-play sensor solution, featuring five built in sensors, with automatically generated control charts shown on any web browser. The built in sensors measure Ambient Temperature, Ambient Humidity, Acceleration/Vibration/Shock, Optical Counting, or Remote Temperature. Or measure any user-supplied sensor with a 5V analog output, 4-20mA output, or 5V digital pulse output. MINX can generate alerts by email or text message, or control other machines, when set sensor limits are detected. All sensors, hardware, and software are included in a single unit. Installation can be accomplished in less than 30minutes.

MINX provides continuous, real-time monitoring of equipment and machines. MINX can automatically generate an email/text when set conditions are detected, allowing your team to action before losses mount. Examples are oven thermostat failing, equipment overheating, loss of air/fluid pressure.

MINX provides continuous, real-time monitoring of processes. MINX can automatically generate an email/text when set conditions are detected, letting you know that an error has occurred. Examples are freezer doors left open too long and Waster water tank not emptied.

Preventive maintenance

MINX provides continuous, real-time monitoring of processes. MINX can count cycles of equipment use via temperature, optical, or shock. MINX can generate alerts when a count limit is reached. Example: Count stamping operations and email maintenance personnel when stamping die needs to be replaced.

Remote monitoring

MINX records all sensor data and presents this data as an easy to navigate chart on a web page. This web page can be viewed from any networked computer or even from outside using VPN. Example: Monitor chemical process from desk.

Automatic/Remote control

MINX includes one digital output that can be used to control another machine, sound a buzzer, or turn on a light. This output can be automatically controlled in response to measured sensor conditions, or controlled manually through MINX's web interface. Example: Excess vibration shuts down lathe or engineer remotely turns of equipment from home using VPN connection to office.

Process control

MINX provides continuous, real-time monitoring of processes. All sensor data is displayed on an automatically generated process control chart. Charts can be printed or use a tablet to display the chart live! Example: Generate process control charts for an epoxy cure oven.
